live to enjoy life's most thrilling moments

weekly updates

lessons from monday to friday. work on both weekends.

everything has seemed to have peaced down a little, and life carries on. perhaps i've got over it, perhaps i've not, but who cares anyway?!

haven't been performing lately academically. have i mentioned it before? oh well, let me just emphasize again. yes, RESULTS ARE NOT SATISFYING.

oh yes, one thing, have i really slimmed down?! people, please please please, give me your comments on the tagboard on the left of this blog. i know my weight has gone down drastically over the past 2 months or so, but i thought i still look the same.

hosting full day for 2 consecutive days is no joke, losing my voice and aggravating on my cough.

one last thing, why the weather is so so hot, when it's supposed to be the rainy season??

no wait, this should be the last - we'll be having a sentosa outing for class 4e1` 2005. that will be on the 17th december tentatively till further notice. i'm looking to include the army guys before they enter camp, so ... yea. please mark the 12th and 17th free, just in case it's changed to the 12th. person-to-contact: me myself or eileen goh.

if you say ...
good-bye today ...
i ask you to be true ...
'cause the hardest part of this ...
is leaving you ...

falling rain and crashing stars, splashing waves and broken dreams

the above title means nothing. haha

ok, i passed my tram hosting last sunday, *celebrates*.

i have started my guided tour training yesterday, so i should be having my assessment in say ... 3 months' time. but oh well, i might not have my assessment anyway, if i'm able to ask not to have it, since i'll be having my internship, FYP and lots more next year.

i still hate bundung (if it's not made properly). but some one likes it, she's mad.

oh yes, went out with crews of sentosa to celebrate shannon's advanced birthday. so there were terence, astra, shannon and I from fort siloso, saihal from ... i don't know, joanne and adam from skytower and zhi sheng, the ex-fort staff. had swensen's mega burger in plaza singapura, haha. lots of lame jokes and tricks as usual, and we're probably the noisiest group in the whole of the restaurant.

disappointing quiz results, shall work harder soon.

lots of assignments and datasheets to do, that's why i requested to not work today. but i lack motivation. someone please ask me out tonight, so i know i have to complete alot of things before i can go out. lols. c'mon people, it's a sunday ...

happy birthday to Linda Tay (i know she won't read it, haha), wai ling and shannon! they have the same birth dates, how exciting. and yes, happy belated birthday to wei liang too.

siew yee, your birthday is coming up in 3 days, so an advanced birthday wish to you too =D.

birthdays, festivals, nice weathers ... all come together at a go. haha. maybe i should do some x'mas shopping this year for my friends. shall i?! *checks wallet*

i tink i should just pamper myself, sorry guys. haha

why do people always pursue something so persistently when they know the end results might not be what they've desired?
letting go is the best choice left.
it's time to move on my dear friend =D.

catching ups have never been better than this =D

simply love meeting up old friends, especially really close ones. haha

met up with EILEEN GOH SI MIAN today, my greatest, closest and best-est budd. haha. spent like 1/2 an hours finding the right restaurant, having lunch and the ice cold dessert. for the rest of the time ... haha, random chats.

met her at holland V at 2pm, but both of us reached early, at 130pm, so we went around looking for a nice restaurant where we could sit and enjoy the food and ambience. so we picked Olio, a fusion cuisine restaurant. i had the Olio Laksa Spaghetti, while she had the ... Olio Camerriti Salmon Fillet with Spaghetti. mine was nice, the flavour was strong enough to excite my taste buds, and the smell lingered in my mouth even after i had my dessert. the spaghetti absorbed the 'gravy' well too, and you'd never dream that laksa and italian noodles can mix so well together. it's a 8/10 rating from me. it could have scored better if the spaghetti was a little bit more cooked; yes it's slightly undercooked, just like the way i like it, but it's still abit hard. if not, i would have given a 9; a perfect 10 if the slices of chicken were more tender, wahaha.

then we moved - dessert at The Cold Rock. we're abit 'sua ku' (lost) when we entered the small shop. it's a small sweets shop that sells icecream, where you choose your preferred flavour and mix with your chosen mix-in, then they 'pan-fry' them together on their cold plate. haha. i had a regular mocha with raspberry and nuts, which cost about $8, and eileen had ... well ... she spent $7, LOLS. nice, though the raspberry masked most of mocha aroma, the nuts blended well. i'm not a big fan of icecream, but this is a must-try, 'cause afterall ... it's what you like in your icecream! haha.

food is both our loves, so probably we'll meet up once more during her holidays to some ulu places to try out other food again. man, we chatted alot as usual, 'cause we are such best friends that we can easily share things with one another.

that's all i have to share, do try the above 2 restaurants if you're free. nice place, nice food, nice people make a beautiful day. haha

Service Hosting

had a really hot and relaxed day on saturday as a service host. my primary duty - to walk around our attractions (merlion, skytower and images of singapore), and assist guests who appeared to be lost.

well ... that's my primary duty, lols. my duty manager asked me to follow him as his runner, which basically was to just follow him as he did his daily checks and pop out when there were something happening around the island. haha.

so we went to watch a bit of golf (barclays singapore open was held on sentosa), watch some show at the home team family day by the beach, and watch a drunk man spouting nonsense infront of IOS. haha. apart from the hour lunch break and duty, i was following him the whole day.

all that for $7/hour, how relaxing.

other than that, e-learning had ended 2 days ago.

and because of all the running around without drinking much water, i'm down with sore throat and cough now.

but i'll still be feasting with eileen tomorrow in holland V, haha. who cares when we're on the topic of food?! so ... we're going to gorge ourselves.

ever since the day, thoughts of you have never fade ...
dreams of you keep appearing in my bed, dreams i had that will never fulfill today ...
