CLS Interaction Camp 2006

I'm back from camp !!! ok. i was back on monday actually, and not until today then i decided to update my blog. haha. ok, so ... to begin with, let me talk abt the 2 days 2 nites camp
day 1: ok, not exactly day 1. we reported at the SAC Foyer at around 1930. got into groups, played some games such as the usual good 'morning' game, chop chilli chop, game of concentration and stuffs. yea, altho i felt it was quite redundant, cus we were once agn separated to form our grp as Choon Long the Camp Chairman told us our grp. yea, but aniwae, gd to noe a few more faces, i admit i cant rmb any of their names, but at least i noe i had seen them somewhere and they're part of CLS Club. haha
ok, so was 'posted' to my grp, and peter and peiqi were my papa and mama for the camp. and we're called the 'MARSMAN'. painted our flag, created some cheers, and time for games !! the first 1 we had was called the hunters' lair, where we need to collect light sticks dat belonged to us. we did pretty well, topping other grps with the most number of light sticks, and we happily went to bed at 3am~
day 2: woke up at 9, had breakfast and of cus, more games. first quarter of the day, it was raining heavily. we ran around in the rain from stations to stations. haha, the best station i tink for dat part of the day was the 1 where i was blind-folded, and cindy instructed me to the left or right or front or stop so as to reaching my destination w/o stepping on those bombs. haha. ok, i got some freezing water down my neck when i stepped on it, and it was Andrea dat spilled those water on me, i definitely could make out his voice dat day. haha
2nd quarter of the day, we got all dirty and filthy. haha. 1 of the best events in the camp, the Mud Slope !! gosh, as some of our grp members were allergic to mud, we were down to 6 ppl (4 guys + 2 girls) to 'climb' the mud slope. we're supposed to make a human ladder, and all of us mus get up to save our papa. we took pretty long, but eventually, this didnt put us down and we made it to the top. did the marsman dance, and 1 by 1, we slided down the blue cover sheet~ and dat's when i got my abrasions from, on my right elbow, right knee, and most interestingly, my right BUTT! haha
den it proceeded to nite activities. the very first ting we had was the campfire. ok, not exactly firewoods with real burning fire, but a big big fan with some red plastic deco on it. but nevertheless, it was fun. sang alot of camp songs, and we marsmans taught the others the 'Dragon Fruit Dance' created by our senior weixin. haha, so cool !
den we had the nite walk. how can there be no nite walk during a camp agree? it's the most exciting, ever thrilling and freakingly scary nite walk i'd ever experienced. dat's the last part of the day, and i tink our seniors realli did a wonderful job in creating the nite walk. i believed it was so successful dat it actually freak our wits out, most of us, ok, at least me. haha, wondering when will it be my turn to scare the freshies ~
day 3: day to break camp. first, we played amazing race. we came in last, but we completed everyting. dat's someting to cheer for. everyting ended as we got ourselves almost crawling on the ground. we're all dead exhausted and reserved no energy. cant imagine how the muslims actually got thru the camp. especially rose (1 of my grp members who is a muslim), i tink they mus hv endured so much. i wouldnt be able to resist the temptation if i were them.
so, marsmans bidded farewell with 'linger' followed by 'billy banja'!!! said goodbye to all my grp members and went home to get a gd gd rest.
so dat's abt all on my camp. a great camp indeed. i seriously tink dat i'd missed out alot when i dint go for the F.O. camp. but nvm, dis mus have recouped all my 'losses'. haha. cheers !!
