2++ wks since i last posted?! woohoo. haha. hoho. hehe.
back from 4e1's gathering, and it was marvellous !!! except the insufficient planning of programmes. everything was quite impromptu. ok, perhaps the bbq was the onli programme that's planned. others... haha. but it definitely was great to see some of my classmates =D. eileen, simin, sabrina, yi ling, hong yan, si jie, jing jing, hui jun, hui yang, ai ling, him lim, chiu wah, val, SP, wx, naz & john (pardon me if i missed out ur name =X). haha
of cus, the nxt best thing is...i'm ill. haha. fell sick on the 2nd day of chalet, and was not very energetic all the way till now. head's still feeling abit heavy, running nose, and slight cough. luckily my sore throat isnt that bad already, if not i'll have to suffer during this x'mas... cant eat all the good food w/o feeling any pain. hohoho
aniwae, i wish all a very merry x'mas, and a smooth-sailing year ahead !!! HOHOHO

Life at MAC !!
ahahaha !!! trying to self-entertain, sorry. currently waiting at mac for my 4e1s to come and meet me. hmm...been waiting since 440, thx linda for waiting with me for...20 min? lols! and thx for even coming earlier than me. hehe.
ok, a few paid and left, and they leave me here alone. haha, lucky i have my laptop with me, and becus of that (i noe u readers out there are waiting) i blog !!!
ok la, i'm not realli dreading this, rather i'm quie enjoying it. haha, cus i tink, it's the first time i actually conversed with them in person for at least 5 min each?! lols !!! in sec sch, we're jus 'hi-bye' classmates, or for the fact dat i'm the class treasurer in sec 3, jus collecting money frm them (seems lyk i can nv part with the job of collecting $$). other than that, it's jus casual chats on msn that nv lasted.

happy bdae janet !! 2006
HEYO!! haha, seems to be my current favourite greeting to all. HEYO!!!! enough of my crap tho, i'll be writing on the wonderful sat night at janet's hse last wk =D
hehe, first of all, happy birthday janet & shandy!! hmm...or i shud sae, belated birthday. haha. aniwae, last sat, after work, i went to janet's hse for she and her sis' bbq bdae party. my first time there, and luckily, i dint get lost. it wasnt that difficult to find, with the help of 3 detailed and easily comprehensible maps by andy, fiona and janet, i managed to get there w/o much effort (actually i onli followed janet's map =X).
so i got there, and i was standing at the gate, feeling rather weird. once i stepped in, i awkwardly greeted her parents and relatives, dunno which is which, so i jus 'halo uncle, uncle, auntie, auntie'. haha. seriously it was a fun nite. that nite i was pretty quiet i guess, and the same ting happened, kept eating =X! lols, cant blame me either, i offered my help to zr and he rejected, so i jus helped to clear up the rest, wahahah. soon after, shirley joined us.
so... time passed, and yea, after fiona and nich left, mad, her little bro and johnny left too. so...i tink i shud leave as well, if not i wun be able to catch the train, so off i went. bidded goodbye with them, and received a few gift from shandy, haha, and so... i left. as soon as i stepped out of her hse, i was pinning my hopes on myself to maybe, spot some constellations i learnt in the vast dark sky. and... lady luck was on my side that nite, as i spotted the 'orion'. it was quite obvious, and i quickly informed andy, and shared it with him, since we're in the same GEMs course (Calendars and Astronomy). it was realli cool
so...that's the onli highlight over the weekend, and i had a usual sunday at home, stoning. jus sat around in the living room, used the com, ate, watched tv, and slept on the sofa. it's always nice to spend a sunday afternoon liddat, tho it might get too boring at times. and... monday was discussion cafe, it went smoothly, with some comments from chris, and haha, i still think i cant present well, but wadeva, it's done, and over. lols ! jus 3 more wks to 3 wks term break, hope the chalet for 4e1 can turn into a reality, cya ~

back from class chalet November 2006
almost 2 wks has passed since i last updated, and i'll be updating on none other than our class chalet !! haha, compared to the previous 1, the events were quite similar, but equally enjoyable. highlight: i slept more. LOLS
strictly speaking, the short 'holiday' at costa sands downtown wasnt that eventful. all we had were 2 bbq nites, endless chats and singing sessions, drinks and stupid speculation on different issues. this time, more ppl came, but i still dint interact with most of them, other than my own classmates and some of the buddy classmates. however, i was appreciative to those that made an effort to come, u guys were great. to those that dint, i noe u had something on, so do join us nxt time round, if we were to have some other outings in near future. not that i was the main organiser for this event (i was only responsible in collecting the money tho =X), but it realli took some time and planning in order to get this outing running.
overall, the chalet (despite being rather small and squeezy), the ppl, the food, the ambience, the showers, the games, the chats, the beer and wadeva u can name, were purely fantastic. for those 3 days, we let go of our worries on the hectic e-learning wk, a few (yea right) reports and online assignment. altho we did talk abit abt how busy each and every1 of us will be after the chalet, we dint realli bother to let it hinder our way to enjoy the break. afterall, a short break is all but a way to longer journey.
now i'm back on reality, finished some work on blackboard, did abit on my report, and will be joining my dunearn mates for dinner later, probably. it's been...so long. haha. bet i wun have much to sae later, but still, hope to see them. it's the only time they're so free frm academic woes and the only time when they're free, and i'm not that busy. still managed to squeeze out some time for them, how noble i am. LOLS. right jeremy, stop praising urself. till then, cya.

haha, 1st bk since ~
wow, finally i had dis sense of accomplishment, dat is, to finish reading a book on friday nite. haha, it's been god-noes-when since i read a book. haha, great achievement i wud sae, to me at the very least. tho it's a small book, with easily comprehensible language structures, i felt that it's a small step towards reading more books =D
it's the 'procrastinator's handbook' i'd spoken of in my previous post. it's realli inspirational. and perhaps motivating as well. the author is Rita Emmett, go get it if u tink u're a hopeless procrastinator, lyk me. lols. in there, loads of tips were given to help u recover from this intolerable (most of the time) habit. i'm now officially a recovering procrastinator. haha
btw, let me briefly highlight some of the key notes the author made. Under her own law, she mentioned that 1 actually spent more time procrastinating on doing certain things than working on the task itself. that was freakingly true ! a simple example of myself wasting 20 min whether to go jogging on '1 fine day', which i cud have easily covered the course by at most 25 min. u might sae hey, u saved 5 min, but look, if i had spent that extra 5 min, health and alertness are the benefits.
maybe in ur opinion, the above mentioned was largely insignificant. but tink abt it, procrastinating had realli made us spend so much time. jus when ppl started complaining they're busy, they're exhausted, time's running out or whatever (fill in the blank). they leave everything to the last min, and swear at the amt of work they had accumulated. i was once such person, i mus admit. usually by procrastinating, ppl regret what over things they'd not done in their lifetime. the author spoke abt asking a grp of elderly if they ever regretted on wat they'd accomplished in their lives. they replied with a guilt-free 'no', but they added that they regretted on things they'd not done. fair enuff. ppl usually procrastinate on learning to weave a basket, going on a bungee jump, learning to play an instrument, calling some1 dear in their lives and the list goes on.
i guess it's realli the matter of time management that distinguish a successful human-being from another. ppl often neglect the importance of this, and drag everything till the last min. they argued that they 'work best under pressure', but i mus agree with the author, that it shud be we 'managed to concentrate and complete our job on time under pressure'. no 1 works best under pressure. there're simply too many factors that oppose that phrase. when u frustrate ppl ard u as u vent ur anger on them jus becus they're offering u a cup of coffee when u're trying to draw up the proposal (the deadline is tmr damn it !); or u finished ur report, but it was nv a gd one; u lose slp over the incomplete job. all these dont contribute to the idea of 'working best', instead, it's the absolute opposite.
i'm trying hard to work on this too. perhaps i dun hv to 'master the art of doing it now', but rather, jus practise the way. things shud go much more smoother for me i forsee. oh well, until i practise it, i dun tink i have the right to tell ppl wad to do =D

go...going...GONE !!!
recently i've been feeling rather secluded, pretty much lyk an old rundown temple being left in a no man's land. not because ppl left me there, n not because no one visited me and did some praying, but rather, i house cobwebs, fallen statues, broken doors and create a dust-filled environment in there that no 1 even wan to steal a glance at it. perhaps onli when some ancient chinese prisoners that broke out and happened to find themselves hiding in me. oh well, crap. lols.
i'm jus trying to express myself. i dunno. i'm not even sure wad's happening to me. lesson's over, lunchtime, discuss where to eat or wad so not, i'm slipping away from these. sorry guys if u ever find me missing before u noe it, i noe u miss me, but err... haha. some very self-commenting remarks. jus take it as hunger had occupied my mind that i cudnt care less for anithing else around me ya? haha.
1 more thing to highlight, that is i can no longer be tolerant over my dad's remarks and criticism. i wun go into details here, but sometimes, i realli hope he can practise wad he taught us, and understand the whole situation b4 raising his voice at any1. he nv fails to dampen my mood whenever he does that. but i mus sae i'm not doing a good job on my part as well. shall learn to change for the better then, hopefully.
on a lighter note, i'm back to reading newspapers. havent been realli reading for the past few mths, and i mus thank my CRS module lecturer who brought back my interest in reading. found out that i've missed out so much issues that have been happening around me unknowingly. i borrowed a book from the sch's library as well. reading is enjoyable, but procrastination jus overwhelms me. it's similar when i wanted to plan an exercising schedule for myself, so... i got myself a book titled ' The Procrastinator's Handbook: Mastering the Art of Doing It Now'. haha, perhaps that will assist me some way or another. haha

studying life
nowadays life was getting dull, but i supposed i'm still enjoying every minute of it. tons and tons of assignment, reports, projects, but these are never-ending, even when i enter the workforce which, i tink, will be of a higher workload. i try not to cry over them, ponder over them and complain till no more saliva is produced. however, i guess it's human for us to cry out wad is unjust to us, y mus we be put through so much work? when we're supposed to enjoy our teenage lives?
everytime i will use the idea of 'that is my life, live it' to continue. it's a life full of exams, obstacles and downfalls to put us down. u must be tired of seeing this. nevertheless, we mus be reminded that these are jus small steps in our lives. exams - anywhere u go, u have to face it. imagine a world without exams, any1 can be a doctor, an engineer, or even a construction worker. u wun wan to live in a place full of uncertainties, will the doc prescribe wrong medicine, or will the building jus collapse 1 day.
students dread exams, projects, assignment and reports. it can be at times energy-draining, and having teachers to pester u for them can be realli frustrating. but tink abt it, during the process, u nurture urself to be more tolerant, more resistant to stress. u learn how to manage ur time properly, how to work with 1 another to achieve the best results, and from here, u 1 day realised, i havent realli reached my limit yet ! the endless amt of effort u put in will eventually turn into satisfaction. from there u convert that into motivation to strive for better results, that's when we improve from strength to strength, and got better day by day.
i missed the times when we had tutorials as a class after sch everyday. during those days, wad's on my mind was onli to finish the given assignment quickly, so i could go home earlier. i'd nv realli treasured the times when all of us got together in a big grp and did the worksheets. the discussion, lame jokes and occasional loud burp after drinking a cup of coke. haha, memories ~
i do understand we need to strike a balance. i'm not trying to sae that we mus immerse ourselves totally in work, and commit oneself to stress. i played alot, slacked alot and ehem, ate alot too (quite redundant ~). i'm jus trying to sae that one shudnt complain much. we shud look around and appreciate wad we already have. dun hurry through everyting, pursue ur target and neglect all the wonderful tings around u. dun dread on wad u're doin; tink abt wad dis will benefit u instead. life ~ cheers ~

post number 2 ~
haha, decided to split today's update into 2. ok, so here i go.
ytd went out with sarah, shirley, andy, fiona, janet and nich (did i miss out ani1?) after lessons. went to cineleisure for the movie 'Rob-B-Hood', starring Jackie Chan and Gu Tian Le. haha. luffed my a** out in dat show, and it was rather touching in the end. every scene was rather unexpected, and basically that's a very gd movie, go catch it if u wan to have a good luff and perhaps cry urself out =D
and as for today, went to celebrate xinyi's belated bdae with kenneth. haha, ok, sang agn at kbox. nth significant to talk abt, had a great time singing with the both of them. and hoped she had a great day with us too. by the way, that was the first time me celebrating her bdae since i knew her in p5. amazing right?!

CLS Interaction Camp 2006
I'm back from camp !!! ok. i was back on monday actually, and not until today then i decided to update my blog. haha. ok, so ... to begin with, let me talk abt the 2 days 2 nites camp
day 1: ok, not exactly day 1. we reported at the SAC Foyer at around 1930. got into groups, played some games such as the usual good 'morning' game, chop chilli chop, game of concentration and stuffs. yea, altho i felt it was quite redundant, cus we were once agn separated to form our grp as Choon Long the Camp Chairman told us our grp. yea, but aniwae, gd to noe a few more faces, i admit i cant rmb any of their names, but at least i noe i had seen them somewhere and they're part of CLS Club. haha
ok, so was 'posted' to my grp, and peter and peiqi were my papa and mama for the camp. and we're called the 'MARSMAN'. painted our flag, created some cheers, and time for games !! the first 1 we had was called the hunters' lair, where we need to collect light sticks dat belonged to us. we did pretty well, topping other grps with the most number of light sticks, and we happily went to bed at 3am~
day 2: woke up at 9, had breakfast and of cus, more games. first quarter of the day, it was raining heavily. we ran around in the rain from stations to stations. haha, the best station i tink for dat part of the day was the 1 where i was blind-folded, and cindy instructed me to the left or right or front or stop so as to reaching my destination w/o stepping on those bombs. haha. ok, i got some freezing water down my neck when i stepped on it, and it was Andrea dat spilled those water on me, i definitely could make out his voice dat day. haha
2nd quarter of the day, we got all dirty and filthy. haha. 1 of the best events in the camp, the Mud Slope !! gosh, as some of our grp members were allergic to mud, we were down to 6 ppl (4 guys + 2 girls) to 'climb' the mud slope. we're supposed to make a human ladder, and all of us mus get up to save our papa. we took pretty long, but eventually, this didnt put us down and we made it to the top. did the marsman dance, and 1 by 1, we slided down the blue cover sheet~ and dat's when i got my abrasions from, on my right elbow, right knee, and most interestingly, my right BUTT! haha
den it proceeded to nite activities. the very first ting we had was the campfire. ok, not exactly firewoods with real burning fire, but a big big fan with some red plastic deco on it. but nevertheless, it was fun. sang alot of camp songs, and we marsmans taught the others the 'Dragon Fruit Dance' created by our senior weixin. haha, so cool !
den we had the nite walk. how can there be no nite walk during a camp agree? it's the most exciting, ever thrilling and freakingly scary nite walk i'd ever experienced. dat's the last part of the day, and i tink our seniors realli did a wonderful job in creating the nite walk. i believed it was so successful dat it actually freak our wits out, most of us, ok, at least me. haha, wondering when will it be my turn to scare the freshies ~
day 3: day to break camp. first, we played amazing race. we came in last, but we completed everyting. dat's someting to cheer for. everyting ended as we got ourselves almost crawling on the ground. we're all dead exhausted and reserved no energy. cant imagine how the muslims actually got thru the camp. especially rose (1 of my grp members who is a muslim), i tink they mus hv endured so much. i wouldnt be able to resist the temptation if i were them.
so, marsmans bidded farewell with 'linger' followed by 'billy banja'!!! said goodbye to all my grp members and went home to get a gd gd rest.
so dat's abt all on my camp. a great camp indeed. i seriously tink dat i'd missed out alot when i dint go for the F.O. camp. but nvm, dis mus have recouped all my 'losses'. haha. cheers !!

lala, singing session
camping later. shall update briefly on wad had happened for the past 2 days or so. haha. ytd went to kbox with niangzi, johnny, jr, joan and andy. the 6 of us had a singing session together for abt 3 hrs, and i had a realli great time there. all of them can sing, and jr is already tinking of having another session already. lols. last song -- 'lian ai pin lu' with niangzi shirley, very nice. haha.
so i'll be goin to Interaction Camp (IC) later. it's held by CLS Club, i guessed. aniwae, it'll definitely be fun, i reckoned. gonna miss my msn. lols.

Muttons' in the Mornin' !
perfect 10, 98.7FM. haha. muttons' in the morning, my favourite early morning radio show. haha. tho till today, i still dunno hu are the 2 DJs, all i noe is they are known as mutton ! haha. but i'm not here to tok abt this radio show, but abt the topic they spoke abt this morning.
the short, 2 min opinion of 1 mutton was expressed with seriousness and carried loads of importance. it was abt the recent Singapore Idol. ok, not abt hu sang better, performed better or wadeva sorts, but rather, the racists supporters frm both sides.
obviously, jonathan is a chinese, and hady is a malay. both sides, i supposed, had reasonably large grp of supporters of their own. but most of these supporters, they chose their idol on their race, instead of their singing ability and the 'star' appeal. i'd absolutely zero comments on hady being the idol, cus i believed both performed very well, and even if i throw in all my confidence, i mite not even dare to make my 1st step into signing the application form.
silly comments were made, racist remarks were thrown in. ppl cudnt be bothered. they kept thinking, "omg, that malay had won !! he shudnt hv got the champion !!". dun they get it? they're being darn right selfish and childish. being a chn myself, i feel that that was pretty 'face losing'. c'mon, every1 of us learned the national pledge, wad happened to the 'regardless of race, language or religion'? guess there's realli some work to be done to achieve this multi-racial and multi-religious society. ok, perhaps we've done dat, but creating the harmony within the community among 1 another seems to be a long way ahead.
perhaps we realli need to reflect abit on ourselves. i admit dat sometimes, i do feel abit racist, lyk ... not inviting the idea of playing a friendly soccer match with a grp of malays or indians, finding them too rough at times. i do hope singapore can realli be a nice place where foreigners can safely conclude that, hey, this nation is really filled with so much culture, and a harmonious place, how wonderful it would be if i'm part of them. yea, so, let's enjoy the thosai, mee rebus and char siew bao together !!! travelling?! realli hope to
good evening !! today went for the buffet lunch at suki. haha, as usual, got a sit, looked at the menu, and started ordering the different food there. met andy, fiona, janet, nich and jr. sarah dint come along, sad. it'd been almost a mth since i last saw her. same to shirley niang zi. lawrence, wayne and the others. all busy with work or simply slacking throughout the vacation. but aniwae, ate to my fill at suki today. the tori karaage (fried chicken), favourite gyoza (fried dumplings) etc.
let's talk abt food...and maybe travelling. agn, ppl that noe me will noe dat i basically live to eat. lols. eating is a way of life. shud commit and indulge ourselves in the most flavourful cuisine we could find once in awhile. that'll make my tummy grows instead of decreasing the circumference of it, but realli, hu cares? when there's gd food, it'll be a dumb and silly thing to do to resist and run away from the 'reality' and the 'fact' that the chef's creation can make ur day, jus liddat.
perhaps the most sinful indulgence of all is chocolate. i prefer dark chocolate, but what ever it is, they are all chocolates. they go well with almost everyting. fruits, cookies, crackers etc.
i would very much love to travel around and taste all the different cuisine around. of cus not anithing too exotic, such as fried grasshoppers?! it would be a nice thing to be able to taste authentic food from different nations. basically i find it hard to find authentic food here in singapore. haha, even at thai express, i believe we dun sell home-created dishes. cus owners tend to change the recipe in order to fix the taste jus right for singaporeans to accept. well, that's not a bad thing, but it actually defeats the purpose of a french restaurant, or a thai restaurant, or wadeva.
i'm not that particular when it comes to eating though. u can pay $1000 for a medium well beef steak (if there's realli such expensive cow to kill!) + a 100-yr-old red wine, but w/o some1 to share ur joy, i guess no 1 will ever love that meal. even 2 pieces of kosong roti prata with hell lots of frens around u are much more enjoyable. maybe... + a a bottle of Tiger or a cup of Milo Dinosaur to complete the meal. CHEERS !!!

short recap ~
first semester had come and gone in a blink of an eye. time realli flies and waits for no one. having been through the first sem of my poly life, wanted to do a quick recap on how it has been for me.
very first, i was enrolled into the class DBS/1B/21, tgt with our buddy class 1B/22, it was a great experience. started by being the treasurer of the class. i admitted i dint do a gd job on it, as i dint keep records of the money in and out. quite irresponsible of me to do that. but luckily, so far, there's no shortage of money, i supposed. there're still some reserved for nxt semester, so will pass it on to the nxt treasurer.
knew our class tutor, Ms Adeline Koh, a very humorous lecturer indeed. and slowly, came to know my classmates a little more. started to find my clique, and they made life wonderful in poly for me.
various activities i had participated, which the most memorable one being the poly50 together with my 'CLS CLS' team-mates. got 15th in the race. nice time training with them, tho i joined them kind of late and dint realli click with them.
of cus, not forgetting the enjoyable 3 days 2 nites stay at costa sands resort with my fellow clique and classmates. staying up whole nite, crapping, mahjong-ing and bla.
2nd term of 1st sem... nth much to recap on, except trying to finish up IDEA project, reports, and finally to our 1st ever exams in poly. everything went by smoothly, and now i'm in my holidays. working at thai express bistro ~ raffles city. havent realli enjoyed my vacation yet, but hopefully dis wk i will. thu goin suki for my favourite buffet lunch, and maybe sunday goin to kbox with the rest, realli anticipating dat as i enjoyed singing. ppl dat know me well will noe dat la.

wad's with MSN?! #*&#$*&*(#
omfg, i cant sign into MSN Messenger. great. i can live without phone, BUT NOT WITHOUT MSN PLS !!! i've totally nth much to do other than gasping for air after cursing msn for the past 2 hrs or so. i'm not tired, i'm not slpy, i jus wan to sign into the freaking msn.
alright, since i can do nth now, might as well jus blog. let's talk abt my current life?! damn, when did i ever start to be short of topic to talk abt?! ok, i admit i'm a boring person, uninteresting and definitely a big big turn off, so perhaps my life isnt that colourful as well. ok, other things then ~
work?! not exactly tiring, jus too taxing on my poor legs. rushing here and there for a few hrs, serving food, taking orders, and talking as well. i mean, talking to the customers ya. better place to work in. fun-loving colleagues. knew a few from myanmar, phillipines as well. full-timers. part-timers. managers. supervisors. haha. 1 manager is damn so noisy, her mouth shoots words like a machine gun and cant stop for a second when she starts to nag. it's the same ting when u pull the trigger, hold it there and bullets keep shooting out, guess it's a thrill for her to tok so much. customers save me from the misery, how i wish she onli wans to nag during rush hours.
time to try signing in agn. shall give up and stone for the nxt hr and see if my eyes got heavy. bye bye

1 week
it's been a wk since i last updated my blog. nothing much for me to update anyway. there's onli 1 particular thing i want to mention here --- i was griefed by the death of Mr Steve Irwin (aka The Crocodile Hunter). he was such a great entertainer, a nature lover, and a loving father to all living animals. i very much enjoyed his shows, watching him rescue-ing animals, introducing to viewers wad different creatures are, and of cus him doing stunning moves to avoid being attacked by dangerous animals. it mus have been a surprise to all, dat he was stabbed in the chest by a stingray.
anyhow, another ting i wud lyk to mention is how singaporeans behave when they're in a particular place. ok, now i'm working in thai express, and everyday u see ppl of different character come and go. u can see dat foreigners are so much more polite. ok, forget it if u dun say thank u, but if wan to comment, pls farking leave it after the meal will u?! or u can jus ask the manager and complain all u wan.

Man: oh yes ... bla bla bla bla ...
*started talking among themselves*
Man: damn, soft shell crab is not a thai dish! (to his son).
Me: wud u lyk to try our Phat Thai Seafood?? (they cant seem to decide)
Man: haha, wait till u go to thailand.
i was damn pissed by dat. if u wan, go fly to thailand and have a farking thai meal for all u wan. get the tom yum soup sucked up in ur nose and have runs after eating all the spicy food.

11 ppl i noe
haha, i find it quite interesting. read it frm ms pigologist's blog. describing 11 ppl i noe w/o naming them. also at the same time, write down wad u wan to say to them. ok ppl, i got abit bored, so hopefully this can help spending my time.
number 1: he's some1 i knew since...haha. i cant rmb. he's the first best fren i ever had. ok, tho not the bestest of fren now, i regard him as a realli impt person in my life. perhaps i first knew him when we're onli 3 or 4, attending the same nursery. memories are lost, but all i noe is he's a great fren and i'll nv forget him.
number 2: alright, i met this girl in p5. we're in the same class during pri sch, and somehow became very gd frens. loves singing, jus lyk me. haha. i wud sae she's the first ever fren i shared my problems with, and the first best girl fren i made. haha. since we entered sec sch, we dint realli contact each other, jus occasional chats on the msn. the thing was, we were still abled to find topics to chat with. and recently when we knew that both of us lyk to go kbox, we went together with her & our frens. and dat, i believe, brings in more topic to tok abt !
number 3: it's realli in my sec sch where i made most of my frens. i was realli envious of dis fren of mine. i always wondered how did he manage to cope with his work so well. haha. and i believe he still does. now he's in jc, and shud be doing well, as usual. hey budd, continue to work hard, i dunno if u'll be reading dis, but still, wish u all the best
number 4: i'm working with this fren now. he's a jovial guy, always very 'on' when u asked him out. we used to go his hse after sch to jus slack around in sec1. haha, cooked spaghetti, 'har gao' and 'siew mai'. ok, we dint realli make them, they're all instant food. nth much, mahjong agn some time later yea?! haha
number 5: the first girl i fell in love realli deeply in was her. haha. nv got tgt in the end, but i learnt to accept the fact dat we werent meant to be. all i can sae is, i nv regretted loving her. okok, i swear i've gotten over her, so as ur 'kor', hope u can find some1 u like. best wishes !
number 6: u crazy girl. always got herself stressed up. all i tink of her is not much confidence in herself. the other best fren i knew hu can jus read wad i'm tinking of. met her a few times since we graduated frm sec sch, yea, the gap is widening, but we're still gd frens. she's 1 person that noes me quite well ba i supposed. realli thank u for being there when i needed some1 to tok to. take care.

number 2: alright, i met this girl in p5. we're in the same class during pri sch, and somehow became very gd frens. loves singing, jus lyk me. haha. i wud sae she's the first ever fren i shared my problems with, and the first best girl fren i made. haha. since we entered sec sch, we dint realli contact each other, jus occasional chats on the msn. the thing was, we were still abled to find topics to chat with. and recently when we knew that both of us lyk to go kbox, we went together with her & our frens. and dat, i believe, brings in more topic to tok abt !
number 3: it's realli in my sec sch where i made most of my frens. i was realli envious of dis fren of mine. i always wondered how did he manage to cope with his work so well. haha. and i believe he still does. now he's in jc, and shud be doing well, as usual. hey budd, continue to work hard, i dunno if u'll be reading dis, but still, wish u all the best
number 4: i'm working with this fren now. he's a jovial guy, always very 'on' when u asked him out. we used to go his hse after sch to jus slack around in sec1. haha, cooked spaghetti, 'har gao' and 'siew mai'. ok, we dint realli make them, they're all instant food. nth much, mahjong agn some time later yea?! haha
number 5: the first girl i fell in love realli deeply in was her. haha. nv got tgt in the end, but i learnt to accept the fact dat we werent meant to be. all i can sae is, i nv regretted loving her. okok, i swear i've gotten over her, so as ur 'kor', hope u can find some1 u like. best wishes !

cannot make it
wow, i've been reading the cellbio notes for the past few days. nth seems to settle. well, maybe i shud start on some past year papers, or wadeva.
aniwae, happy birthday to PUTERA. haha, his bdae was on 19th aug, but it was until today as i blogged. he's 1 of those best budds i had in sec sch, and still is. used to go kfc after sch and order huge portions, 2 pc meal, upsize, + cheese fries, + whatever we cud tot of. dat usually took us 1+ hr to finish, and jus crapped throughout. he's goin back to indonesia dis coming wed, we guys gonna miss him. not forgetting the girls. haha
still pondering if i shud attend the alumni dinner which cost $50... venue: sch's parade sq. we paid $60 last yr and went to a hotel, now they are having it in sch. kinda outrageous. but i heard that it's sort of a fund raising programme for our sch's needy students. ok, for the gd cause, i'm considering.
not sure abt the others tho, i mean, classmates. shall ask them.

2 down, 2 more
maths B and basic microbiology are officially over !! cell biology and in/organic chem are nxt.
finally we could take a breather and relax for awhile. the nxt paper is on nxt tue? which i jus realised today when wayne told me so. all along i tot it's on wed --- chem paper. i'm totally wrong. it shud be tue --- cell bio paper. but well, it'll be gd for us aniwae, since we'll have a break on wed b4 our chem paper on thu.

dumb
i'd finally gotten a new phone !!! ok, it seems lyk the last 3 phones (k700i, the fone i used dat i presumed it's spoilt - shall explain dat later and currently using k800i) are all sony ericsson's phones. great. haha. this phone was chosen by my dad, and after using thr 500bucks voucher, we had to pay the balance of $58, which was not too bad?
a short description of my phone - it's a 3G phone, comes with a 3.2 megapix cam, has a phone memory of 64MB + external memory (they gave me a memory card of 256MB), and it's black. cool phone. haha.
now i shall elaborate on y i think the previous phone is spoilt. ppl following my blog shud realise that i did mention in my recent post that the previous phone cudnt send any sms. to my surprise, after i changed my handset, i still cudnt send any msg !!! dat got me real irritated and i tot... my sms function mite not be re-activated when they changed my SIM card that time. so god, i called dis morning to M1, and yes, i was right. due to my stupidity and over emphasis on 'outer beauty', i tot the old one is faulty. alright, this is another example of how judge a book by looking at it's cover. haha
anyhow, i'd got a new phone, and i'm not goin to lose it due to my carelessness agn. my dad will surely hack me if i do dis time. haha. frens! do remind me if i leave my belongings lying around unattended ya? haha
off to study agn, enjoy folks !

3rd fireworks display, 2006
i watched the fireworks display ytd with fiona, sarah, janet, jun rong, andy and nicholas after celebrating sarah's bdae with the 6 of us + johnny, zi rong, madeline and shirley. it was magnificent. splendid. breath-taking. altho the display onli lasted for merely 10 min, i believed all the waiting and crapping and cramping of legs were worthwhile. i'd actually decided to watch it agn today, but wl joined his band mates and juniors, and they shud be waiting for it to start now (8.54pm).
i hope i can get to watch the all 4 displays, or perhaps there'll be more, nxt yr. haha. and too bad i dun hv a video cam to capture the moments. it doesnt matter, at least it's permanently stored in me (unless i go senile 1 day).
haha. slept rather late last nite, and woke up kind of earli, so now feeling very sleepy, but still dun wish to go to bed yet. shall continue to find ppl to chat. have a nice dae peeps !

happy 41st bdae SINGAPORE!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE !!!
alright ! it's the nation's bdae. after 41 years of hardship, growth, unity and harmony, we say goodbye to the national stadium as we stood and celebrated the last national day there. i was still in awe of parachutes, the fireworks display and watching the march, even after watching it for the past 17 years. it will be so cool to perform on such a big stage.
will be goin to esplanade to catch the final 2 fireworks display. but so far, i've not confirmed who'll be goin with me. onli 1 cfmed is most probably wl, most steady one. but, wudnt it be overly 'romantic' for jus the 2 of us, u noe, guys, to watch fireworks together. haha. so, yea, any1 interested, pls, pls pls pls, let me noe. the more the merrier !!
oh ya, 1 last thing, i'm totally broke. ytd went down to collect my $70 odd but...god damn, my vouchers were not signed. and that means, no money for me. jus wad were the managers doin?! cant they jus get their fat ass on the chair, take a pen, and sign their bloody name there. it wun take them 1 whole afternoon, sweating and having cramps by signing. and now i have to borrow money from my mum, yea, owe-ing more and more ppl now.

interesting week ahead
exam starts nxt wk. wed to be exact. i'm now in deep shit.
see, it's goin to be a busy wk for me. tmr i'll be goin back to dss for some frenly bball match with the sch students, and perhaps the teachers as well. so, i'm practically left with the afternoon and nite to study. afternoon will be taken away from me as i make my way down to cityhall to collect my 2 days' pay. dat i'm left with the nite to see me thru the revision. ok, further interpretation, i shall have my revision in my dreams.
onli days free dis wk for serious revision: wed sat and sun. y?? thu i'll be goin out with my grp of budds in jc, and fri, out to watch the fireworks display at esplanade. yea. so, i mus realli mug. yea, perhaps cup as well. ok, i'm being pretty lame here. haha.

last sat on my way to work, there was this china lady asking me for directions. i had a difficult time trying to converse with her. it was realli tough indeed. she wanted to go to expo, and the so called 'map' she had showed dat expo was at the boon lay end. ok, i supposed she's illiterate in terms of english, so she cudnt refer that to the actual 'map'. she boarded the train at outram, travelled all the way to boon lay, and den travelled all the way back towards the east. at clementi, she started looking for help. 'hey, do i alight here and change over to the other side' was wad she asked. den i spent lyk...the time taken to travel frm clementi to tanjong pagar to explain that she's currently on the right track, and even told her to onli cross over to the middle track at tanah merah, and she cudnt understand. grrr ..
back to topic. i'm realli screwed if i dun get down with work. but oh well, i'm always liddat, procrastination overwhelms me whenever it comes to studying. ok, i shall be determined and disciplined to get over it !!! haha. hope so. wish me luck guys.
and time to get a new job man. any1 with gd offers???

handling kids. yeah, kids.
with respect to the title of this post, "handling kids", all i can say was --- tough.
ytd nite's function was...rather simple, cus my partner (a newcomer serving dinner for the very first time) and i were assigned to onli 2 tables with 7 courses each. the function: 118th Fairfield Methodist School Alumni Dinner or something liddat.usually, there'll be 8 or 9 courses, so basically, the fish was taken out of ytd's menu. y? easy, cus we're serving p6s, i supposed. my thought was, yeah right, alumni. first of all, to my surprise, fairfield methodist is a mixed sch. then, 2nd surprise of the day, it's not exactly an alumni dinner when there were so mani kids.
so the function started. the toughest ting was this - the kids cudnt seem to settle down. we had to walk round the table to find the best opening in order to portion the food. it was rather dangerous. they were jus so hyper and energy was lyk...flowing thru them every seconds. fortunately, my partner and i dint collide into any of them, if not, disaster.
2nd thing - they still cudnt use the chopsticks properly and dirty the whole table. so we had a hard time trying to clear the table after that. well, that's ok. in fact, some adults i met before were worse. haha.
however, on a commendable note, i was surprised by these kids with their well-practised manners. it was a joy, really, to serve them. after portioning, they would say thank u. after changing the plates for them, they would oso say thank u. and when u asked them something lyk "may i clear the main dish?", they would reply politely saying, "yes u may" or "sorry but we still want the food". the contrast - adult, "ok" or "no, we still want". bla.
ok, let's tok abt this morning.
i woke up at 8am this morning jus to make my way to my workplace for a phototaking session. damn. we were asked to take photo for the september event, if we want to work during that mth. i heard some big function involving many different high profile guests from different countries will be held. it's called IMF or something. wadeva it is, i'm trying to get a new job after my sem exams, and get out of the place. haha

majulah singapura the 'draft'
happy 41st bdae singapore !! ok, today is not national day yet, but sp was celebrating it earlier. i believe it is to avoid clashing with our sem exams, as if it were to be held nxt wk, den we'll be left with onli 1 more wk to our exams. so that shud be the main reason??
CLIMAX: toddlers came running onto the field and danced !!! ok, that's, perhaps, the best part. it got the crowd standing up, taking pictures, luffing and exclaiming, "eh!! so CUTE!!" haha. yea. indeed, they are. jus when they still cant coordinate their muscles that well, looking kinda clumsy, which made the performance so great. others were jus some cultural dance, samba fusion and watching the model helicopter flew pass the stadium. ok, not dat they were not interesting, jus that we're located right at the corner, jus dint have the mood to watch.
so after various performance, we ended with singing 3 singapore songs led by the SP choir. i did sing alright?! haha. then, it was time to go home, and...ms koh was lyk carrying so mani tings. abt 8 mc chicken (given free; no vege, no mayo) and a few cans of soft drinks. haha. and we saw this little caucasian girl, whom the class was so fascinated and wanting to take a foto of her. haha. it's lyk a grp of fans screaming and chasing their idol. so fun.
went home after that with wai ling, joan and devi. they realli made me luff lyk crazy. especially joan, always with weird and farni ideas up in her head. haha. while on my way home, i finished my 2nd mc chicken and ya, had 1 chicken drumlet for dinner. damn. i swear i'm not goin to have anymore fried chicken at least for tml. err...better not swear, i try to. quite sick of it. but well, i cant resist the temptation of food. it's forever the case. put a plate of perfectly fried chicken thigh (preferably kfc, err...crispy pls), i'll gobble it. =X haha
ok folks. that's abt all. i shall update on national day itself. well, as usual, watch the parade on tv, eat some chips, and maybe someting more interesting will be shown this yr. wad's already interesting is dis is the last time NDP will be held in National Stadium (if i'm not wrong?). haha. until then, gd nite !!!

cell bio ICA 2
blogging now, study later. will be having cell bio ica 2 tml, more or less completed revising for it, but as usual, i believe it's not enough. well, all i have to do is to study more later. get more things into my head, and hopefully do well for that. ever since i entered poly, i havent score an A for my bio. it'll be quite an achievement if i get dat, cus it's like, 80% and above to get an A?! yea, will strive for that. same goes to ICA 2 for microbio, did realli badly dis time round. yea, sem exams. haha. that'll do the trick in pulling my grades up, provided i do realli very well for it.

memorable saturday night
update agn !! yea, it's a rather happening day today. haha, ok, to begin with, give myself a clap for completing studying 3 topics of cell bio. i finally got some work done, and managed to rmb some facts. dat's a gd start. shall continue tml. haha
so, the big thing today - Dunearn's Military Band Concert in DSS. haha, ok, the onli the complaint was that the duration was too short, it onli lasted for...sae...1hr 15min?? but wadeva it is, i still tink it's great. guess the standard had dropped, but the sch band still rox. saw a few frens there, esp. my hippo fren, shan ling. haha, been quite some time since i saw her oso. lols. she gave me the best advice when it comes to love matters k. lols. so...the sch dint change much, i still lyk the small hall we used to squeezed in during assembly. haha. jus felt great la. to end the whole concert, the band played the sch song, and i sang along. somehow regretted dat i dint sing dat much while i was still studying there. kind of drawing back memories that are still vivid in my mind. things lyk being in 1e1, knowing my very first few frens there, a noisy class every teaCHER knew abt (i guess), and me being the class chairman jus simply dint care. haha. those frens i knew are now my close frens. jus too much to tok abt.
yea, after watching the band, i oso got dis tot - if i had continued being part of the primary sch band, i tink i shud be enjoying every moment more. i mean, band is jus so great? i dunno, everytime i attended a concert, i jus felt dat way. ok, perhaps if i joined the band initially, i mite be missing out all the medals and trophies i'd won with the dss bball team. haha. so, i tink i mite wan to learn a new instrument soon, maybe music is wad i lyk ultimately.
so, after the concert, went to westmall for dinner with soon yang and jun hao. haha, had burger king, saw a few familiar faces. haha. yea, the first one, eileen's mum. lols !! saw her standing outside popular, probably waiting for pamela (eileen's sister). yea, so went up to sae hi to her, and she told me leen jus went downstairs, wahaha. and someting farni happened, leen's father saw me too, and started shouting to leen telling her dat i was up here. lols, kinda paiseh la, so jus walked away, and met up with her at the escalator. so we chatted for awhile, walked around den she joined her family later on.
the nxt person we saw was of cus, my petite and perhaps, blur lyk me oso, 'sister'. haha, yea, dat's sabrina buying takoyaki with her mum. ok, said hi to her and her mum, toked abit, den walked off le. haha. nice seeing her oso. and of cus, i saw my bao bei 'nu er' siew yee ~ haha. saw her ytd at wm too when i went home from sch. yea, she went for the concert as well, but dint see her then. yea, den we decided to eat agn at the nearby kopitiam. SPRING CHICKEN. haha. dat had us all filled up, guess i need to work extra hard to shed off the extra calories soon. haha. so went home after dat, and saw ms shan ling agn, goin home alone. haha. so sad la she. alone. lols.

everything's over + POC
hola, finally IDEA's presentation is over n rwp report was submitted, can fully concentrate on studies le? no more excuses not to study already.
so, after sch ytd, went to marina sq with shirley, andy, janet, sarah, madeline, fiona, nicholas, junrong and zhi xian. ok, nth much, jus shopped around, they dint buy aniting, den go for dinner le. ok, the 'la mian' we had was quite gd, forgot the restaurant's name le. but anihow, after dinner, fiona, nich, jr, zx and i went to catch Pirates at suntec. ok, the cinema...i wud sae...sux la. so small. but well, the movie was nice, and i'm sure i'm goin to catch the sequal (or issit sequel??).
show ended at 11++, reached home at 1150 liddat, showered, used my laptop and stoned. haha. jus liddat, another day's gone.

update update
almost 1 wk no update. not in the mood sia, cus i'd been so damn suay these few days, dun feel lyk writing the unhappiness down. but aniwae, since it's over, shall jus write it.
perhaps the unluckiest and worst day in my life was last sat... was working dat day, yea, it's another big function. ok, right, i went into the ballroom, get to my table, and the guests asked for 3 glasses of red wine. i got my round tray, make my way to the bar, and took 3 glasses of red wine. walked back to the table, started putting down the very 1st glass of wine...den...suddenly...
somehow...the other 2 glasses spilled... on the lady to my right. damn la !!! i was lyk...stunned for 2 secs. den wth la...i keep apologising lor, den luckily the manager saw it, quickly come to my aid and took over the situation. basically i tink he had no time to even reprimand me as he had to attend to the lady, dat's y i got away... but seriously, i'd rather get scolded la... i felt so down for the rest of the function, and it's lyk, screwing up the function, ok la, screwing up dat table.
so cus of dis, i actually stayed home whole day on sunday, except for breakfast and dinner. haha, stayed at home to study and play abit. ok, so go on to monday now. morning microbio prac, dunno la, someting's bothering me dat i totally messed up the experiment. supposed to wash my slides with ethanol, den i wash with water. my last slide...i dint even get ani bacteria on it la. have to redo a total of 3 slides. hai, dun tok abt it le la. so... we had our microbio test after dat. ok, quite tough, or rather, not realli if i had studied long enuff la... i tink i missed alot of things while studying, maybe due to last min studying agn. haha. but dat's jus so me la, cant realli settle down and study until the last min. haha, k, guess i need to seek for some motivation as well.

Poly 50 '06
okaayyyyy !!! poly 50 had finally come to an end !!! hOOO!!!! all 4 teams of cls did well, even the lecturers. in the lecturers' category, our sch's lecturers came in 2nd !!! and for the 4 teams of us, we got 3rd, 4th, 15th and 17th, out of 90 teams!!! i'm in the 15th team, and we reached our goal of top 15. very happy.
yea, finally it's over. now can rest my poor ankle le. i tink i somehow affected the team's results, cus cant realli run dat fast. but...well, i managed to pull thru the race, and it's rewarding to noe dat we got 15th.
can rest loh !!! now can concentrate more on my work le. IDEA, PBL, ICAs and finally EXAMS.

france lost
urgh...france lost this morning !! omg, dat zidane, dunno wad he's thinking, tho i noe he did dat out of anger and impulsion, but he shud be experienced enuff to noe dat by doin dat, it will get him sent off. so stupid la...haha. and niang zi was telling me dat if he's not sent off, maybe he'll score a penalty kick, and maybe france will win le. but oh well, italy is better in penalty kicks, so, credits to them.
alrite, so wc is now over. slept lyk 2 1/2 hrs onli last nite, n surprisingly, i'm not exactly very tired, except during the microbio lesson. but oh well, w always got slpy during her lesson, so wad's the problem. i tink i'll jus read thru her notes, i'm not realli listening to her lor. wadeva it is, i'll try to listen la... afraid dat i mite miss out key pts.
i'm actually in the sch's library now using the free-access com. haha... waiting for poly50 trng to start. today's going to be a light one i guess. jus jog around the poly50 route, maintain dat lvl of stamina and dat's it. feeling quite tired. mus be not enuff slp, but anihow, wc's over, poly50 will be over by wed, den can concentrate on doin other things already, such as IDEA, pbl, and study for those upcoming ica. semestral exams is a few wks time from now, maybe will stop slacking and start studying already, bit by bit, if not last min study, very jialat.

wad de hell !! i'm realli angry now. dat farking man go steal my fone. wad's so nice abt k700i? wud u tell me?! alrite, let's congratulate him for being successful in stealing my fone right infront of me and my frens. yea, and reward him with loads of k700i, yea, so he can stuff himself with k700i and look lyk 1 too. damn
and there he was right beside our pool table, chatting on the fone. guess wad, he mus be saying to his frens, "hey, i got a target, k700i leh, sure can sell for alot of money" fark u la. maybe i can steal ur fone and sae alrite man, i got a nokia 3310, maybe i can sell it for lyk $1000?! freak.

haha, some ppl have been bothering me to update, yea, so shall update le
yea, the best ting was, last sat when i worked. it's a big function, very very big function. it's the 25th anniversary of changi airport !!! guess wad, MM lee and his wife were there !! Mr yau chau dong and Mr ma bao shan were there too. the boss of the building itself was there oso. damn excited lor, the table i'm serving was jus 2 tables away from MM lee's table !! so close la. jus how mani ppl got the chance see MM lee so closely?! yea, it's a wonderful exp !

halo !! haha, i tink my blog is jus so uninteresting, almost every post talked abt roughly wad happened for the day onli, and this one is not exception. yea, today went to kbox, jus b4 the new term starts. lols

1 down, 2 more
halo !!! finally i'd completed 1 module dat will be tested nxt wk, and dat's maths. haha. dis morning i felt so dead and wanted to study, but jus cudnt bring myself up and stick my butt to the chair doin never-ending maths qns. so, i decided to call up wayne and wai ling to go national library to do some work. lols. so nice of them to agree to accompany me, if not i tink i wud not have completed aniting by today. somemore tml i'll be goin to kbox with qinfeng and xinyi, where got time to study liddat, so have to complete at least 1 module today. wahaha. altho i dint complete all the supplementary qns posted online, i tink it's sufficient? hopefully ba. and we tot of continueing with our cell bio... but guess wad, looking at it, it jus turned us off. lols.
so after dat, me and wayne went to find wai ling at work. haha, dat's '2 talk about...'. spent lyk 10 min in there crapping with her and looking at stuffs, to see wad i could get for my sister as bdae present. her boss was jus not there, if not i dun tink she, together with her colleague, wud slack so much. lols. and farni her, go cut her fringe herself. yea, so me and wayne decided to go have our dinner and walk around while waiting for wai ling to finish her work.
haha, so we walked to marina sq, and went straight to carl's Jr. for dinner. had carl's catch, and damn, it's realli big!! it's my first visit there, and i dint expect it to be dat big. haha, spent lyk 1 1/2 hr to gobble up everyting. still needed wayne's help in finishing the fries. haha. guess that's the first time wayne felt so full having fast food. not jus full, he told me he's bloated. haha! yea, quite ex, but it's worth it if u're looking for someting nice and filling. but ya la, it's unhealthy, so we shudnt eat dat much. jus once in a while la. haha.
yea, jus 2 more modules to complete before the new term starts. i noe wun be studying tml, but the quiz is on wed and fri, other than maths which is on tue. so, still got time!!! haha, procrastination jus gets all over me whenever it comes to studying for test and projects. lols!! oh ya...PROJECTS! back from class chalet June 2006
woot! i'm back from the class chalet! haha. so now, i'm goin to update roughly wad we did during the chalet. seriously it's nth much, but very much enjoyable. haha
day 1: after collecting my 3 day's pay, i went straight to costa sands pasir ris to meet up with my fellow classmates frm 1b21 and 1b22. alrite, first day, nth much, but i was realli happy to see some classmates i'd not seen for...perhaps jus 1 wk? some 3wks. yea. haha. jus missed them. so we had dinner at some kuku restaurant, and we went pool, arcade and back to the room!! hoho, was quite disturbing, got ppl keep complaining dat we're making too much noise lor. wth. we're not the onli ones making noise, den they jus picked us to complain abt. damn. den came the security guard, dat understood the situation and shift us to a nicer room where we could make as much noise as we possibly could. yea. so nice of u uncle ! hmm..den played mahjong with wailing, guojie and junrong (daniel the sub). haha. so fun playing with them, even tho we dint play with money. yea. and it was 5am b4 we knew it, k, let's proceed
day 2: yea, after mahjong, me, wailing, wayne and guojie went to the beach. we sat by the bench, and had our so-called weekly chats (held by me, wailing and wayne). lols. we had dat almost every tue afternoon after lesson, and it was very nice to have dat u noe. haha, chat and chat, until around 7am ba, and we walked back to the chalet and tried to get some slp. yea, we got the bed when we went back, lols. so me n wailing quickly hogged the onli bed left, but well, too shy to share the bed with her. lols, so i slpt right inbetween johnny and her. until 9am dat is. woke up, brush teeth, wash face, den slack around. 1030am, went back to sp for sports comm meeting. haha, so sians la. so dead oso. ok la, den returned to chalet with peihan and kelly. had bbq for the nite, and mrs adeline koh joined us!! so nice of her to buy some fruits and tidbits for us. bbq bbq, had some bacardi, sing song with niang zi with daniel the guitarist. lols, serious, she sings realli nice. sing sing sing. jus 1 of my fav things to do ya. lols. oh ya, niangzi and andy's fren boon peng (hopefully i dint spell wrongly) joined us too. haha. so we decided to slp, so we slpt. lols. fiona and lawrence they all went to watch wc upon hearing dat brasil was down 1-0. was too tired to join them la, so...slp ! dat was around 4am le ba, until 8am
day 3: agn, dint realli slp la. on and off. went for breakfast at 930am, go pool until 12pm, and back home to rest for awhile for poly50 lor. haha, it was not exactly tough la... i tink it's jus dat i dint realli exercise for a long time le, so it's abit tiring for me. well, got 1 or 2 blisters, and dat's all?
overall, it's realli fun la. hope that those who came enjoyed themselves. and those who dint, nvm, i believe we'll organise some other outings soon. haha. and be sure not to miss out the fun then!!

being pessimistic??
woahaha. finally finished my maths elearning. yea, thx wayne for telling me that u need java to view the qns, and i went to dl, so... i'd done my maths ! oh well, i still hv loads of revision to do for my up and coming quiz -- maths, cell bio and chem. damn la, i'm jus slacking. nth much i've done, jus these, which are so little. ah well, hu careS?! tml is class chalet, enjoy first, sat and sun den study. haha.
eileen told me dat i'm being pessimistic these days. haha, realli? am i? i tink so too. dunno, but jus keep tinking in the opposite way. haha, guess it's time for me to look on the bright sides agn.
haha, we promised to keep in touch with each other, after we grad from sec, but guess wad, i've not been meeting up with ani of my ex-classmates. dat's bad isnt it. i missed the class gathering last friday when they went to have dinner. simin and the gals even tried to change the venue for our convenience, but in the end i still dint go. haha, jus felt restless dat day. realli sorry ya? sorry john too for making the effort to get the guys goin and i told him in the end dat i dint wan to go. yea, realli sorry. sorry to the gals, and the guys.
for the past few days, i dint do much. let's start frm sat then. was stoning at home for the whole day until the evening when we went over to my grandparents' hse for dinner to celebrate both my aunties' bdae (by right it shud be on 18th, but we celebrated it earlier) and father's day. haha. so, it's vegetarian steamboat, realli had my fill. my grandma's soup base was jus as gd as ever. no one can beat her in dat. wahaha. it's maize with lotus seed soup. woohoo. yea, my favourite.
den came sunday and monday. worked on these 2 days. wedding dinner on sun and food tasting on mon. nth much, jus work. haha. to earn some to spend during the chalet la, and to do other stuffs ya, lyk cut my hair, buy this and that, top up ez-link and bla.

yea, we went ice-skating at jec today, lols, and once agn, i made a fool out of myself by falling so mani times. urgh, and wet my pants. god la. it's always liddat. haha. but it's fun !! haha, i still cant skate dat well, despite my...3rd/4th there? aiya, nvm, i'm not goin to take part in any skating competition oso. haha. yea.
went to causeway afterwards for dinner at swensen's. took a few pictures together, and had a nice dinner. haha, so niang zi went off for campfire in her sec sch, den we went to find madeline at starhub, den went to have dinner with her. haha. jus chat and luff la. den...go home loh.

enlightenment. haha
hey hey hey. another sunday afternoon. rain in the morning, shine in the afternoon. not bad. but i'm not going out agn... boring la. some1 pls ask me out!! i dun mind even if it's for 30 min, for lunch, for dinner, for chess, for kopi or for roti. haha. yea, cus not working today, feeling not dat well, catch a cold and still having some cough, so disturbing. perhaps all due to insufficient rest. haha.
yea, currently watching some buddhist-teaching vcd with my mum. haha. i dun care if u're a free thinker, christian, muslim or hindi, i'm still goin to tok abt this. i'm not goin to brainwash u oso, i'm not a devoted buddhist too. jus wanted to share some of the meaningful things the monk shared with fellow buddhist followers.
yea, the monk, or we address them as 'shi fu' as my mum taught me to, said this, "hate cannot be addressed with hate, it can onli be reduced with love; blood cannot be washed away with blood, but with clear and clean water, it can." yea. haha, some reflection to do ya. y ppl express so much hate for a certain person or a particular issue, and not trying to understand 1 another's predicament and try to accept/change the outcome, instead of wining and moaning which cant help but add on to ur own misery.
jus to share with ppl hu read this, my grandpa has been complaining much abt my cousins... haha, and my mum is trying to tell him kids are liddat, u need patience to teach them, instead of scolding them for no particular reasons. aniwae, my cousins are both boys, a 7 year old and 1+ year old. i agree that they're annoying la, sometimes, cus the elder one keeps complaining and the younger one keeps crying. i noe it's tough on my grandpa to teach and guide them, but they're still young ya. he's always comparing them to my sister and i, and my other 2 cousins. well, tink dat's not gd lor... i've asked him not to compare liddat, cus it'll do more harm to my cousins confidence. the elder one is in pri 1, and he looks so deprived of confidence. he can dislike his father for all he wans, for i detest him too, but kids still need to be raised, they're innocent ya, y put them into dis bad situation where they onli have bad childhood to look back to when they grow up. y not let them grow up thinking that i have such a great grandpa and grandma that guide me thru my life, pick me up when i stumble and support me in watever i'm doin. they're my greatest mentor. i wan to be lyk them. isnt dis better? i noe my grandparents did not do this on purpose, they're jus frustrated with the kids' parents -- my aunt and her husband. hopefully my grandparents will change ba. for they raised me and my sister, and we still tink that other than our own parents, they're the nxt impt ppl in our lives.
haha, aiya, wadeva it is, i hope my cousin can oso understand y my grandparents are liddat. my grandpa sometimes oso tok to me abt them, not dat he hates his own grandchildren, in fact, he loves and care for all of us. he oso said that these 2 cousins of mine are very 'dong shi' at times, and he really appreciates that. well, i guess no one will realli hate their own children or grandchildren. tho tired after looking after them for a long day, i believe my grandpa will still look back, how i've raised them from young till now, seeing them grow up day by day, when they learn to walk, learn to talk and learn to eat on their own. ya. haha
well, different ppl tink differently la. haha. if u're interested in watching dat vcd, let me noe ya? u can ignore all the amitabha thing, but jus listen to the reasoning the 'shi fu' talks abt. it's pretty interesting oso la. dat's wad i do oso, jus listen, no harm. i can ask from my mum and lend it to u =D. haha.

yea, currently watching some buddhist-teaching vcd with my mum. haha. i dun care if u're a free thinker, christian, muslim or hindi, i'm still goin to tok abt this. i'm not goin to brainwash u oso, i'm not a devoted buddhist too. jus wanted to share some of the meaningful things the monk shared with fellow buddhist followers.
yea, the monk, or we address them as 'shi fu' as my mum taught me to, said this, "hate cannot be addressed with hate, it can onli be reduced with love; blood cannot be washed away with blood, but with clear and clean water, it can." yea. haha, some reflection to do ya. y ppl express so much hate for a certain person or a particular issue, and not trying to understand 1 another's predicament and try to accept/change the outcome, instead of wining and moaning which cant help but add on to ur own misery.
jus to share with ppl hu read this, my grandpa has been complaining much abt my cousins... haha, and my mum is trying to tell him kids are liddat, u need patience to teach them, instead of scolding them for no particular reasons. aniwae, my cousins are both boys, a 7 year old and 1+ year old. i agree that they're annoying la, sometimes, cus the elder one keeps complaining and the younger one keeps crying. i noe it's tough on my grandpa to teach and guide them, but they're still young ya. he's always comparing them to my sister and i, and my other 2 cousins. well, tink dat's not gd lor... i've asked him not to compare liddat, cus it'll do more harm to my cousins confidence. the elder one is in pri 1, and he looks so deprived of confidence. he can dislike his father for all he wans, for i detest him too, but kids still need to be raised, they're innocent ya, y put them into dis bad situation where they onli have bad childhood to look back to when they grow up. y not let them grow up thinking that i have such a great grandpa and grandma that guide me thru my life, pick me up when i stumble and support me in watever i'm doin. they're my greatest mentor. i wan to be lyk them. isnt dis better? i noe my grandparents did not do this on purpose, they're jus frustrated with the kids' parents -- my aunt and her husband. hopefully my grandparents will change ba. for they raised me and my sister, and we still tink that other than our own parents, they're the nxt impt ppl in our lives.
haha, aiya, wadeva it is, i hope my cousin can oso understand y my grandparents are liddat. my grandpa sometimes oso tok to me abt them, not dat he hates his own grandchildren, in fact, he loves and care for all of us. he oso said that these 2 cousins of mine are very 'dong shi' at times, and he really appreciates that. well, i guess no one will realli hate their own children or grandchildren. tho tired after looking after them for a long day, i believe my grandpa will still look back, how i've raised them from young till now, seeing them grow up day by day, when they learn to walk, learn to talk and learn to eat on their own. ya. haha
well, different ppl tink differently la. haha. if u're interested in watching dat vcd, let me noe ya? u can ignore all the amitabha thing, but jus listen to the reasoning the 'shi fu' talks abt. it's pretty interesting oso la. dat's wad i do oso, jus listen, no harm. i can ask from my mum and lend it to u =D. haha.

cls nbe
woohoo, came back from cls nbe already.. haha, sure it's a fun day,the different games in the rain and stuffs, getting ourselves all filthy and smelly and muddy and dirty and... haha. tho cant realli click with our 'hai dai' team members, but still i enjoyed myself, and i tink every1 had ba.
so it was not until nite time when janet, sarah, madeline, xinyi and kim ying came over for the bbq. haha. had a hearty chat with them, with occasional scare of cats and flying insects. haha. den shirley and fiona went cycling, junrong and andy stayed behind cus not enuff bike. lols. thx man, if not i wud be bored to death staying alone in the chalet. haha, i hate to sae this but i jus cant cycle. hopefully 1 day i can realli master the technique of cycling. yea, so accompanied madeline, janet and nicholas to walk out of the chalet, den we walked back to the chalet already.
haha, feeling quite retard at once it's past midnite. went to cheers, ate noodles wif andy and junrong, walked back, and stoned. haha. listened to some crazy stuffs on andy's phone. bla bla bla. haha, played wif the onli lamp post wif condensation, and do some stupid stuff. haha. see how retarded we were? haha. ok, so no long after, they're back from the trip. haha, played abit of wad they called india poker? 1 dare, and went to the beach... and on the way, jus kept singing even tho i had a blocked nose. haha, sounds crazy ya. den...go home le loh... shirley had dry eyes i tink, den she took out her contacts and look so dead. haha. poor niang zi. den, ate mac, came home, watch abit of nba finals game 1, and bu zhi bu jue slp le. on the sofa! and i dint bathe, omg.
okie, woke up at 3pm liddat, and here i am, blogging le.

boring afternoon
hey hey hey! gonna zi hai abit. weekend afternoons are jus too boring. haha. have to self entertain myself, b4 i go to work at around 430pm. dat's roughly another 3 hrs to go. haha. "wo de ai qing shi yi ke shu~"
yea, been wanting to go kbox-ing. haha. yea, found out dat some of my classmates actually love goin there. so, shall ask them go one day. haha. and yea, the chalet is cfmed, did i mention b4? oh well, haha. "JULIA, JULIA"
e-learning wk gonna start tmr. haha, have to start le, try to finish all b4 goin for cls non-budget event, den can immerse myself totally in the fun, with no 'weights' on top of me. haha. dat's to reward myself for completing the e-learning? haha, hope so. after that, have to resume working and doin my IDEA, revision for upcoming quiz and stuffs liddat. den it'll be the class chalet on the last wk, jus to recharge our batteries before the nxt term starts, where it'll be crucial as our very first semestral exams will be held soon after the term starts. den have to chiong and try to get gd results. haha, i'm sure we gonna do it! i've been tinking of how to do my idea. it's a difficult device to make. haha, so mechanical. guess i have to engage a triple E student to help us in dis. haha. oh well, we jus have to come up with the prototype, and jus roughly how does it work. hopefully we can do a gd job, and maybe let the product burst into the market, and we'll be rich !! haha. fat hopes. yes, jus 1 more day to term break... excited? yes! gonna rush thru the proj man, and lots of fun waiting for us.
haha, got back our chem and bio results. haha, quite happy of my results. at least i scored more than 70% for both papers. so...now hope for the half of the microbio paper to be as well. lols.
yea, cls non-budget on 8th & 9th. class chalet on the last wk, wed - fri. haha, gonna be a busy vacation. e-learning, work, IDEA, and lots and lots fun. gonna spend a fruitful, busy and realli nice vacation.

is money that impt afterall??
hai, recently i've been complaining i've no enuff money to spend, but, come to tink of it, is money realli that impt?? i've always said that money is not impt, it doesnt make the world goes round. yea, alot of ppl mite disagree wif me, but, still, if money does, den wad abt other factors? family? frens? love??? there's alot of saying, money buys u clock, but it doesnt buy u time; money buys u a house, but not a family, and bla. so, i realli dun understand y is money so impt to so mani ppl? cant ppl lead a simple life?
i've a fren that is in jc1, and he wans to work. he has cca practice to attend, assignment and studies to handle, and many tings that made him tired and worn out. still, he wans to work. reason? to buy tings he wan, to buy frens presents. i mean, certainly he has enuff to spend. he's not exactly a very rich person, but neither is he very poor. ok la, if his studies is outstanding, i've nth to sae. but he has problems, and, i realli dun wan to see a fren, due to greed, fail to excel and fall 1 step behind every1. sorry fren if u're reading dis, but, i shall jus wish u all the best?
sometimes ppl cry, and sometimes ppl whine. "y is my life so miserable" we thought. nv did we spare a thought for others, hu are more unfortunate than us. give us a piece of bread, and we sae it's nth, i wan a burger. give the less fortunate a bread, and they are more than delighted to accept it, jus to keep them goin somemore. hope perish so easily for us, to them, they always hope. they hope for enuff to eat, a shelter over their heads, some cloth to protect them from the cold. with no food, the family hunt together; with no shelter, they hug each other and shun frm the heat or cold. 'love' is wad kept them goin. we? jus keep on crying, and whining...
alrite, above are crap, haha... jus feel lyk writing out wad i feel. haha, disagree if u tink it's wrong, there's freedom of speech aniway. haha.
let's not be so pessimistic.

how's school?

omg, i've actually forgot how to sing already. lols, used to dread the day when we'd to sing this, but now, realli felt that, y dint i sing it out loud during my 4 yrs in dss?! i mean, dss realli holds alot of memories to me, not jus my frens, not jus my teachers, but every part of dss. from the cleaners (though i dunno them and they dunno me) to the canteen, from the basketball court to classrooms, from the library to the concourse, and watever.
so...i went back on fri 26/5 to get my cert. yea, sch doesnt change much, canteen doesnt realli change as well, but since i reached there at abt 4pm, i dint get to eat my favourite nasi padang, nasi lemak, yong tau foo and curry rice!! haha. but, i still chatted wif some teachers that realli helped me along, especially in sec4, our crucial yr. teachers lyk ms au, mr ng and mdm khong were there when i went back. had a realli nice chat wif them, got to noe how they're doin, and of cus share with them abit of my life, well, i tink it's the 1st time i actually spoke to them in such a relax and unstressful atmosphere. haha, there used to be a barrier, u noe, that separates students and teachers. that, i believe, had been broken ba.
of cus i miss my classmates. especially those from 3e1 and 4e1. we're in the same class for 2 yrs, helping each other and now every1 had done well and gone to further their studies at their desirable college or poly. 1 more ting, realli very sorry to yc, wx, john, stan and sp, i know i'd promised u guys to go back and take the cert with u all, but, i went back to take with chonglee. realli sorry. well, i'll make it up 1 day, jus to catch up with u guys yea? perhaps a mahjong or badminton game? haha.
haha...yea, there's still mr potato, putera frans, who's now back in indonesia, and decided to go overseas to study at US. haha, he's having such a nice life out there. miss him. lols, sounds gay, but i dun care. since after Os, i've not seen him already. realli, there's so mani tings we've done together. mugging for chn Os, finishing 1 whole spring chicken each, playing soccer together, mahjong, crap, and bla.
