15th Day of CNY

It is a long absence, and I'm back again.

It is like this. I read many jokes these days and to keep this going, I posted them up. Well, I cannot tell jokes well in person, let alone being a joke myself. I'm a serious person, yea?

Say, 15 days of chinese new year passed. I guess people weren't really hit by the economic crisis, yet, as I had my fill of goodies over at friends' and relatives'. I put on 2.5 kg, mind you.

So the first big thing was the open house I had over at my place. That was the first time so many people came at any one time. Say, 20-30? I couldn't be bothered to count. A brief recap for that day, and hopefully you can help me do the head count, haha.

31st Jan 2009, 8am, I went out to get some breakfast before Eileen Goh and Sabrina my dear little friend, came over for breakfast at 830am. Eileen helped me with the shaping of the potato croquettes, and Eileen, many of my friends liked it =D. That was followed by Stanley, Desmond, Samuel and Chun Yu, the buddies all in NS now. Of course, Wei Liang came shortly after, in addition to a few of my Secondary School class girls consisting of Jing Jing, Si Jie, Hui Ling and Valerie. *11 people so far ...

In the afternoon, SP mates came over. The usual clique - Wayne, Janet, Madeline, Johnny, Fiona, Nicholas, Sarah, Shirley, Zi Rong, Jun Rong, Andy and Joan came. That was another 12 people. Joan made us some wonderful caramel-full pudding, and they bought yu sheng to my place as well. Well, I had people playing In Between at a corner, Bridge on the sofa, Witch, Werewolf, Fortune Teller n Whatever game behind the sofa, and Mahjong in my room. Cool.

Special thanks to my mum for the food, otherwise, I would have been dead.

We left for Joan's place after that, played mahjong and more eating of course, before we left and had supper over at Batok's Mac with Wayne.

The following week on the 7th Feb, we went on home rampages starting at Andy's. His mum cooked great food ... especially the Japanese curry. Seriously, I couldn't stop grabbing those wings drenched in the curry sauce. We next moved on to Janet's, a usual meeting place for almost all occasions, LOL. Mahjong-ed a little, had a bit of food before heading to Sarah's. Her parents ordered buffet for lots of people, and we played some card games, ending the whole day at Zi Rong's. Her mum cooked good too! She made some pasta with a Chinese-Szechuan twist, with cheese. Weird combination, but trust me, it was pretty-damn good.

8th Feb was an annual visit to Soon Yang's house. He was trying to matchmake his girl classmates with guys, making his friends sound as if they're hyper-desperate. HAHA! That was about it for that day.

Big day today. I'm getting tired ... Point form now.

  • Had 2-Dimensional (2D) Echo Cardiologram at Alexandra Hospital. Well, I couldn't make out what the nurse was saying about 'mild TR' and 'others trivial', but since the doctor told me I was, am, alright, I took his words for it.
  • FYP presentation was smooth. I didn't stutter as I thought I would. Handled questions pretty well ... mostly because the lecturers were lethargic from the lunch. HAHA. You know who ... If don't know, ask me.
  • LC role-playing assessment. Hmm ... That was at the bottom of the important tasks for today, and yea, I thought I did just fine to get by.

Ok, Have I made it up? Haha, probably not many of you all would finish reading it anyway.

By the way, those who are presenting tomorrow, all the best. Exams ahead over the next two weeks, so best of luck, and most importantly, work hard =D.
