just less than a day to the new semester. all of a sudden, i felt a sense of emptiness. well, i've been anticipating the new semester, but now, i hope it doesn't start so soon ... perhaps due to that reason.
either way, school is still going to start despite me feeling bad or good, so ... let's just hope for the better. 12 long weeks before the next vacation ... and soon after the vacation, the semestral exams will commence. that will spell the end of year 2 in SP. everything seems to be moving at a fast pace.
some add-ons to the recap i had a few entries ago, that was the sentosa trip on wednesday, group interview at SENTOSA again on thursday and orientation for the new job at SENTOSA yesterday.
since i've nothing to do anyway, let's talk abt the orientation. i reached at around 1130 with 2 other people, and we waited till 1230 before we began the orientation. first we went to fort siloso, where we took a short tram ride up and toured a small part before proceeding to the skytower when the 4th person joined us. that was followed by images of singapore, then the merlion to end the day trip.
had a 3-hour lecture with the supervisor, then off for dinner break. after dinner, was songs of the sea. the display was splendid i would say, and the staff were energetic. just some self-entertaining i suppose, because us audience were not really swaying and clapping to the music.
we're informed of our posting after the show - me at fort siloso, nicholas tee and hui shan at songs of the sea, and rainee at images of singapore. only rainee got what she wished for, while for me, i hope to be posted to skytower instead. but well, i think it's fine as fort siloso seems to be the the most difficult to manage as compared to the other 4 attractions. anyway, i should be running between songs of the sea (on weekdays) and fort siloso (on weekends). not bad.
that's all for the orientation. still don't know my schedule yet, but i suppose we all would be starting next week onwards. as for me, it should either be on next saturday or sunday. that's all.
just played mahjong from 1230 - 2030. won a dollar after squashing my beautiful butt for 8 hours. haha. but yea, winning or losing doesn't matter, the important thing is to enjoy the process of playing with your buddies.
guess that briefly summarise my last week of vacation. good bye =D.
as the sun sets ... all i'm left with is darkness. but when it rises the next day, my day will be brighten again. if only life is this simple ...
