last post in Perth

i presume this to be my very last entry written in Perth, as i won't have internet access over the next few days here. reason? today is my last day of work. haha!

3 seems to be a good number. people like to count to 3, or countdown from 3. and 3 usually is the magic number to everything - 1 is always too little, 2 is never enough, and 3 is just right (yea, and 3 cheers and 3 cheers and 3 cheers for ______. sounds familiar aye?!). at the count of 3, if you don't go for a shower, there'll be no computer games for you tonight.

and that's why today is a good day to blog, with 3 more days to go before we go home. can't wait till friday 1530 when we'll board QF71 back to Singapore. all in all, i've spent a lot here, mostly on food. thanks again to my parents for the supply, haha.

so what will we be doing over the next few nights?

tomorrow will be a catching up session with Grace at Freo as she'll stay here for at least another 10 months before her junior year ends and she might fly back to Singapore to see us, so i thought it's a good idea to meet up with her first. that'll be followed by the torchlight tour at Freo Prison at 2045 which i think will be thrilling. scary aye?!

thursday is the post ITP meeting with the person-in-charge in the morning and King's Park in the afternoon. haha, to think that we are visiting Freo Prison and King's Park on the last week here when both are the more popular attractions here is really ridiculous. we should have done that weeks ago. it's a little rush, but i believe it's alright. get back home and pack my bag.

friday will officially be our last day. we have planned to have breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, take a final walk around the city and finally, make our way to the airport! at 2030, we should be able to see the city lights filling the small island of Singapore and touchdown at 2100.

so guys, meet ups soon. saturday i'm free for the day while at night i should be having dinner with my family, but that is not confirmed yet. maybe we can have mahjong sessions, and well, be prepared to lose some money 'cause i'm dying to get my hands on those small little tiles. haha! sunday will be a day out with sarah and again, i have nothing on at night. book me people!!!

i have 2.5 more hours to go before doing some labwork ... ... ...
